Employers found it challenging to manage and track multiple internship applications, and the process of assigning/assessing candidates from initial steps to job offers was time-consuming.
Similarly, students had difficulty finding relevant internship opportunities and enhancing their job profiles to stand out in a competitive applicant pool.
Our research insights and A/B testing revealed that employers needed an automated solution for managing applications, while students desired timely updates on internship opportunities from their favorite or popular companies.
Finding internships in Rwanda can be challenging, as some employers rely on recommendations. The redesign of Internboxx has significantly improved this process, enabling employers to find better candidates within hours of receiving quality applications.
